Soooo, Lost is starting again soon (hells yes!) and for Christmas I got seasons 1 and 5 (which were the only ones I was missing) so naturally, I started watching season 1 over again since I haven't seen it since the first time I saw it, which was obviously a while ago. I noticed something interesting though. There's a theme of dark and light/black and white going on in the first season. The first big thing I noticed was in John Locke's introductory episode when he teaches Walt about backgammon and points out the two sides and emphasizes dark and light. The second thing I noticed was when Jack and Kate find Adam and Eve, they pull a small bag from one of the bodies and it had two small stones in it, a black stone and a white stone.

I'm only on the fourth episode of season 1, but I found these two things pretty interesting after everything we know from last season.
What are your thoughts?
